Though blessed with limited material endowments, the family endured hardships. She remembers until this day the deprivations and the difficulties her siblings with her had suffered in the course of their quest for a better life.
Today, she enjoys the blessings of a good life with her loving husband and children. Having relished the good feeling and experience of being helped in some way by some kind and generous souls somewhere in her fledging years, she feels good and enjoys helping others today. Her family sends some poor but deserving young people to school.

In the Aklan Inter Faith Academy, they exert time and efforts and work with dedication not only for the academic preparations of the children, but also train them how to live right, that they may grow up basking in the light and loving to do what is right.
