Dear Mr. Espartero,

Your article "Search for Outstanding Aklanons," April 15 – 21, 2007 issue of Madyaas Pen enumerated the 2005 and 2006 achievers. Among the awardees of the 50th Aklan Anniversary celebration (2006) was RTC Judge Tomas Retorico Romaquin (Law) whom you excluded in your list. The article titled "Provincial Gov’t Honors Outstanding Aklanons, employees" and the photo by Joe Haresh Tanodra, March – April 2006 issue of "Viva Aklan Journal" p. 15 shows Judge Tomas Retorico Romaquin on the stage seated with other awardees at the left of NVC chairman Carmen Salas Quimpo.
Kindly explain why? As one of the avid readers of the Madyaas Pen, may the public know in the next issue of the newspaper of its omission in fairness to him as one of the fourteen (14) awardees of the 50th Aklan Anniversary Celebration.
