Numanciahanons Pass RN Board


Aklan State University (ASU), College of Nursing produced another set of Registered Nurses (RN) after passing the recently concluded nursing board examination, December 16-17, 2012 at Iloilo City.


Two Numanciahanons among others who passed the board examination are Frenzes P. Tapican, BSN of Poblacion, Numancia and Angelica F. Reyes, BSN of Dongon East, Numancia. Tapican obtained an average of 81.80 percent. She is the daughter Ret. SSgt. Richard J. Tapican and Mrs. Fe P. Tapican. 

Tapican studied in Numancia Elementary School. She completed her secondary education at Regional Science High School for Region VI. Her philosophy in life, “You have to fight through some bad days to earn the best days of your life…”


Angelica F. Reyes is the daughter of Mr. Antonio Reyes and Mrs. Anacleta Fernandez-Reyes. She finished elementary at Dongon Elementary School and high school in Regional Science High School for Region VI. She believes in the saying “Success belongs to those who dare”.  

 ASU College of Nursing has 102 examinees, 85 of whom are first takers, while 17 are re-takers. Of the 85 first takers, 51 or 50.49 percent passed while of the 17 re-takers, one (1) passed this year’s Nursing Board exam. /MP
