ASU Banga Schedules Graduation

Some 627 candidates for graduation from various degrees in Aklan State University (ASU), Banga Main Campus, will receive their diplomas from Dr.  Danilo E. Abayon, ASU president during the graduation ceremonies to be held on Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2015, at the ASU Amphi Theater, Banga, Aklan.

According to Miss Michelle M. Tan – ASU Board Secretary, Atty. Allen S. Quimpo will be conferred the degree Doctor of Humanities (Honoris Causa) during the graduation program.

Atty. Quimpo is an educator and environmentalist. He is the president of the Northwestern Visayan Colleges in Kalibo, Aklan. He will also serve as the guest and commencement speaker during the graduation program. He will be introduced by Dr. Danilo E. Abayon – ASU President.

Honor Graduates

Of the 627 graduating students, 27 will graduate “Cum Laude”. Some 49 will graduate high school from ASU High School Laboratory. Rizzagin Ana Margarit Gadiano will graduate as Valedictorian and Nikko G. Igcasenza – Salutatorian.

Among the college graduates, four (4) will be conferred the degree Doctor of Education, two (2) Master of Science, five (5) Master of Arts in Educational Management, and four (4) Master of Public Administration. Some 20 will graduate BS in Nursing and 15 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  /MP
