TN Outlets Expand In Aklan

The hunger mitigation program of the government thru the operation of Tindahan Natin (TN) is expanded in Aklan. More marginalized consumers are benefiting from quality but low priced NFA rice at P18.00 per kilogram.
Some 49 other Tindahan Natin were recently added to the 17 previous and operational TN in Aklan. The latest 49 TN are covered by a Letter of Guarantee issued by OIC – Regional Director Teresita S. Rosales of DSWD Field Office VI. Each TN operator has a financial assistance of P20,000.00 interest free loan payable in one year as a start up capital from the DSWD.
According to NFA Provincial Manager Pablito G. Gemarino, the TN outlets are accredited to service the rice needs of the community and to create livelihood. The TN operators are identified to operate in various municipalities of Aklan which are: in Brgy. Talon, Altavas; Pob. Balete, Aranas, Sition Mapait Aranas, Balete; Agbanawan, Dingle, Torralba, Manggan, Pagsanghan, Banga; Songcolan, Ambolong, Cabugao, Lalab, Napti, Batan; Pob. Buruanga, Alegria, Tigum, Katipunan, Buruanga; Pob. Ibajay, Polo, Tagbaya, San Jose, Ibajay; C. Laserna St., C. Laserna Ext., Linabuan Norte, New Buswang (Centro; Mercedes Village), Old Buswang, Roxas Ave. Ext. Andagao, Kalibo; Pob. Lezo, Bogasongan, Silakat Nonok, Lezo; Pampango, Alfonso XII, Libacao; Balactasan, Mercedes, Alaminos, Logohon, Madalag; Tugas, Mantiguib, Makato; Motag, Malay; Tigpalas, Osman, Bulabud, Cabayugan, Malinao; Pob., Nabas, Libertad, Habana, Nabas; Pob. New Washington, Puis, Polo, Cawayan, New Washington; Dongon East, Badio, Camanci Sur, Pusiw, Numancia; and Panayakan, Dapdap, Dumatad, Tangalan.
