The Rotary Club of Forbes Makati with IPP Ed Escano awarded Megs Lunn a PRESIDENTIAL CITATION for the partnership in Operation Taghoy and Project W.A.L.K - Wishes of Aid and Limbs for Kids partnership last Rotary Year.
The two men behind the successful joint project with Megs Lunn (right) on project WALK - Pres. Markus (center) of Iloilo Rotary club and IPP Ed (far right) of RC Forbes Park. The awarding was held at Day’s Hotel, Iloilo on July 24 with DG Edgar Sy (right) witnessing the solemn occasion. Megs shares the plaque to her former RC Kalibo members "for their collective efforts they extended to me in Making Dreams Real last RY 2008-2009".
Arnel Ropero (far right), a 13 year old boy 1st ever beneficiary of the project was also given the same recognition during the joint induction ceremonies of Rotary clubs in Iloilo where IPP Ed Escano was the inspiration speaker. /MP
