COMMENT ON THE BLOG

Hello,

After all what has been said and done, the net revenue is a pittance.
The Municipal Government of Kalibo is better off outsourcing the planning, marketing, sales, execution and management of Ati Atihan 2010. It can charge a fee, say P 500,000.00 or more, from the outsourced events management company and Kalibo is far ahead in the financials compared to Ati Atihan 2009.

Ed’s Note: The financial report which came out on the fourth week of August is now the subject of daily criticism in a radio station in Kalibo. Those concerned in the preparation of the Ati-Atihan financial report 2009 are yet to give their answers.

Hello,

Candidates for mayor in Kalibo should present their financial plan how to increase Ati Atihan Net Revenue.

If an events company is given a three year contract (coinciding with the term of the mayor), my estimate they may be willing to pay a fee of up to P 1 Million per year. They may even prepay the three year contract.

It is an opportunity for the new administration to unlock the potential of Ati Atihan as big revenue source for Kalibo LGU.

The financial report should also present the impact on increase in sales taxes collection as a result of increase revenue of business establishments during Ati Atihan. Is Kalibo LGU tracking the historical figures? They should.
