Jhennilee Scarlet Joy Didulo will represent the Division of Aklan, DepEd to the 2015 National Science and Math Challenge to be held  on March 21 – 22, 2015 in Iloilo City. Didulo of Kalibo Elementary School, Kalibo, Aklan won in the Division Elimination Round held on March 1, 2015 at the Kalibo Pilot Elementary School, Kalibo, Aklan.

This event was handled by the Association of Science and Mathematics Coaches of the Philippines (ASMAC Philippines), in partnership with the National Association of Teachers and Educational Leaders, Inc. (NATELI) and ASMAC International Institute.

Didulo’s achievement would not be possible without  the efforts and full support of her parents, Mrs. Nelda G. Tumbokon, District Science Coordinator, Mrs. Gail F. Nabiong, District Mathematics Coordinator, and Mrs. Luis Concepcion, School Science Coordinator.

The competition aims to: a) develop and showcase knowledge and skills in science and mathematics of students; b) awaken greater interest in science and mathematics among elementary students; c) develop the values of hardwork, honesty, and sportsmanship; d) incourage coaches to provide good training to their pupils; and d) give pupils due recognition for their talents and skills. /MP
