In a solemn ceremony, the 2012-2014 officers and board of directors, Philippine Red Cross (PRC) were installed into office. The induction program was held at Hernani’s Mix ‘n Match, Kalibo, Aklan on Saturday morning, October 27.
On the same occasion, Ms. Aracely Pelayo, PRC Administrator Aklan was awarded “Outstanding Service Award”.
Aklan Gov. Carlito S. Marquez was unable to attend the program but he was ably represented by Atty. Diego M. Luces, Provincial Administrator as guest speaker and inducting officer. Dr. Cynthia C. Dela Cruz introduced the guest speaker.
Atty. Luces read the speech of Gov. Marquez. He also administered the Oath of Office to the officers who are: Atty. Ronquillo C. Tolentino – chairman, Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente – vice chairman, Hon. Madeline A. Regalado – secretary, Ms. Remia H. Donguines – treasurer, Hon. Bayani M. Cordova – asst. secretary/treasurer, Mr. Augusto C. Tolentino – auditor, and Atty. Plaridel M. Morania – legal counsel.
The members of the board of directors are: Hon. Selwyn C. Ibarreta, Hon. Nilda B. Tambong, Hon. Soviet A. Dela Cruz, Dr. Jesse M. Gomez, Lt. Col. Eduardo B. Gubat, Hon. Daisy S. Briones, Mrs. Marianne L. Quimpo, Dr. Cynthia C. Dela Cruz, Ms. Sefalina D. Peralta, and Engr. Abraham Villareal. /MP
