UCPB EXTENDS CREDIT TO AKLAN ARBS
The ceremonial turn-over of checks from the United Coconut Planters Bank ( UCPB-CIIF Finance and Development Corporation ) to two agrarian reform cooperatives namely Tag-osip-El Progreso MPC and the Aparicio ARBs MPC was successfully conducted at the session hall of Buruanga, Aklan recently. The program is an offshoot of a microfinance project supported by the UCPB-CIIF Finance and Development Corporation in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – Philippines-Australia Technical Support for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (FAO-PATSARRD) and the Local Government Unit of Buruanga, Aklan.
