PNRC Aklan Chapter holds a one day District and Schools Red Cross Youth Coordinators Conference last May 30. The participants discussed several topics to improve further the services of the Red Cross in Aklan and the process of mitigating the negative effects to life and property of disaster like earthquake, flood and typhoon. Vice Governor Tolentino discussed the role of the Red Cross to the participants specially in times of catastrophe. Dr. Laroza challenged the participants, most of whom are public schools teachers, to perform their task accordingly. “We should not only be motivated to do our job because of our salary but we do it because it is our duty”, she pointed out.
