PNP Holds Badge of Honors Ceremony


Aklan Police Director Senior Superintendent Clarence Guinto presided last week the conferment of the PNP Badge of Honor to police personnel in Aklan province.

The ceremony reminded the PNP members to bring back the highest respect of integrity as they wear the badge of honor that symbolizes not only prestige of becoming one of the chosen trusted Filipino but rather to serve and to protect justly and fairly.

Police Senior Superintendent Atty. Clarence V. Guinto,CEO VI, APPO director acted as charging officer.

Rev. Msgr. Jose Dollete, Parish Priest of St. John De Baptist Cathedral of Kalibo blessed the PNP badges and the personnel wearing them.

"Every PNP member should do their primary duty to serve and protect the community and uphold the law at times," Aklan Police Director said. The conferment of the PNP Badge of Honor is in relation to LOI 13/09 and memorandum from TADPRM.

All levels of Command in the PNP will conduct the PNP Badge of Honor Ceremony to all PNP uniformed personnel from senior officers down to the lowest rank until all have undergone the ceremony.

Chief of BSTPO, municipal police station chiefs as well as group director of the Provincial Mobile Group attended the said ceremony at camp Camp Pastor Martelino, New Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan. /MP
