HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Atty. Allen S. Quimpo was 68 years young. The management, faculty and staff of the Northwestern Visayan Colleges celebrated his birthday with him as guest on Friday, August 23. The birthday celebrant is shown blowing a candle on the cake during the birthday party.
The Aklan Provincial Tourism Council held its General Assembly meeting
at the guest house, provincial capitol on Tuesday, August 27 with Gov.
Florencio T. Miraflores, APTC chairman. He is shown above with Ms. Vicky
Ramos-Antonino as co-chairman. Discussed during the meeting are the
expansion of membership, provincial tourism development in Aklan, and
the management of the Kalibo International Airport.

Rotary International District 3850, District Governor Mark Anthony Ortiz visited the Rotary Clubs in Aklan on August 27 - 28. He visited Rotary Club of Kalibo during lunch where he was briefed of the current programs, projects, and activities of the Rotary Club of Kalibo. He went to visit the Rotary Club of Boracay in the afternoon for the same purpose. The following day, Wednesday, he was backed to the Rotary Club of Kalibo for the Joint Governor’s Address with the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo held at the Rotary Livelihood and Training Center, Andagao, Kalibo.
