ROTC-NVC Holds Presentation of Sponsors




The Reserve Officers Training Corps, Northwestern Visayan Colleges (ROTC – NVC) held its 65th ROTC Presentation of Sponsors in honor of Mrs. Melrose Quimpo – Martelino, chairman of the Board, NVC, Kalibo, Aklan. 

The presentation of sponsors was held on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 3, 2013 at Pastrana Park, Kalibo, Aklan. They held its Induction of Officers and Presentation Ball the following evening at the NVC – CSQ Gymn, Capitol Site, Kalibo, Aklan.


After the street parade from NVC to Pastrana Park, Pass and Review followed with presentation of sponsors. The NVC chordal voices with Ms. Katherine B. Delfin sang the doxology.
The presentation of troops followed led by the guest of honor P/S. Insp. Ariel N. Nacar, chief of Investigation Section, PNP Provincial office, Kalibo, Aklan. Reading of Orders was done by Master Sergeant Gregorio B. Beltran, PA.


Atty. Allen S. Quimpo, NVC president welcome the visitors and guests in his inspirational message. Maj. Jerson N. Napat (INF), officer in charge of 601 Community Defense Center based in Banga, Aklan spoke on the objectives of ROTC and how his training and experience are helping him in his military career.
P/S Insp. Ariel N. Nacar, the guest of honor and speaker was introduced by Capt. Ricardo C. Villaruel III (INF) PA. Nacar spoke of his military and police training and experience. He strongly pointed out to the desirable values a person must develop, possess and observe in his way of life especially in public service. 


The Pastrana Park program ended with the Pass and Review. Master Sergeant Alejandro P. Arca, Jr. was the Master of Ceremonies. 


In the evening of the same day, Induction of Officers and Presentation Ball followed. 


Those who were inducted to office are officers and members of Fair Ladies Sorority, S.Y. 2013-2014 led by Ms. Angela L. Rodriguez-Most Exalted Lady; Corps of Sponsors composed of 33 young ladies;  and   Gallant Night Fraternity Batch 17 led by Cadet Ma Jhoan S. Dongon-Great Gallant Knight. /MP
