Sr. Supt. Samuel Nacion Assumes Aklan PNP Command




Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO) Officer in-charge Senior Supt. Samuel Nacion conducting his 1st command conference with all the Chiefs of Police of Municipal Police stations, Aklan Public Safety Company, Boracay Tourist Assistance Center, section chiefs and key personnel of APPO on Monday, Feb. 10 after the Distinguished Visitors Program held at Aklan PPO Multi-Purpose Hall. 

According to Nacion, he will continue the current programs of Aklan PPO and adopt the PROSICS System of the Police Regional Office 6. This is the system which projects the wide coverage in the deployment of PNP personnel in strategic locations, maximum police presence and an excellent crime prevention strategy as crime deterrence to preempt the occurrence of crime in a locality.

Nacion replaced OIC Senior Supt. Jomil John Trio on February 7, 2014, Wednesday after his promotion for senior superintendent on January 22, 2014.

Prior to his assumption as OIC of Aklan PPO, he was then the officer-in-charge of the APPO way back in 2011 and chief of the Boracay Special Tourist Police Office now renamed as Boracay Tourist Assistance Center, Boracay Island. 

Nacion was then also the chief of the Regional Operation and Plans Division of Police Regional Office 6 based in Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City before he assumed his present post. /MP
