Only God can make a tree, but man may cut it and climate change may kill it. The above picture shows one of the mango trees approved for cutting to give way for the construction of a fastfood business. These trees are growing on the DRSTM Hospital, corner D Maagma and A Mabini streets, Poblacion, Kalibo, Aklan.

Its cutting means increase in temperature, carbon dioxide, and decreased wind break. /MP
