Aklan SP 2010–2013 Members


The 2010 – 2013 Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Aklan has adopted the Internal Rules of Procedure. It just differs very slightly with that of 2007 – 2010.

Among the revisions are the changes in the session day from Thursday to Wednesday of each week.

The 21 standing committees of the 2007 – 2010 SP were reduced to only 20. The Peace and Order and Disaster Preparedness committees were merged into one.
The majority party members are Hon. Jose Enrique Miraflores, Hon. Selwyn Ibarreta, Hon. Gerick M. Templonuevo, Hon. Nemesio P. Neron, Hon. Daisy S. Briones, Hon. Jean O. Rodriguez, and Hon. Rodson F. Mayor.

Identified with the minority are Hon. Phoebe Clarice Cabagnot, Hon. Raymar A. Rebaldo, and Hon. Victor M. Garcia.

Sectoral Rep-resentatives Jun Rey I. Tordecillas of the SK federation and Teody M. Masangya, Sr. of the Liga ng mga Barangay are also identified with the majority party.

Vice Governor Gabrielle V. Calizo-Quimpo is the presiding officer of the SP.

The committees are chaired as follows: Hon. Selwyn Ibarreta-Appro-priations, Budget and Finance and Ways and Means, and Laws, Rules and Ordinances; Hon. Teody M. Masangya, Sr. – Brgy. Affairs; Hon. Nemesio P. Neron – Cooperatives, Food, Agriculture And Environ-mental Protection; and Disaster Preparedness and Peace and Order; Hon. Rodson F. Mayor – Education, Culture, Science and Technology; and Energy, Public Utilities, Transportation, and Facilities;

Hon. Daisy S. Briones – Games and Amuse-ment; and Women and Family Welfare; Hon. Jose Enrique Miraflores – Good Government and Public Accountability; and Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Commerce; Hon. Jean O. Rodriguez – Health and Social Service, and Human Rights; Hon. Gerick M. Templonuevo – Human Resource; and Public Works, Housing, and Urban Relocation; Hon. Raymar A. Rebaldo – Internal Ethics, Privileges, and Discipline, and Local Government; Hon. Phoebe Clarice L. Cabagnot – Labor and Employment; Hon. Victor Manuel M. Garcia – Oversight; and Hon. Jun Rey I.
