“Magaganda at Bagong” (MB) Family Planning Users Club is organized on Saturday, August 4, 2012.
The members come from the six (6) barangays of Kalibo, Aklan which are Bakhaw Norte, Bakhaw Sur, Pook, Andagao, New Buswang, and Old Buswang. They met at Bakhawan Eco Park, discussed their objectives and elected their officers who are: Jane I. Cavan – president, Luisa Tolentino – vice president, Avelina Algo – secretary, Jennifer Melaño – Asst. sec., Cristina Dela Cruz – treasurer, Marife Ocampo – asst. treas., Dorie Villanueva – auditor.
The PIO’s are Rose Ropa, Lilibeth Cuadrante, Nancy Beltran, Marjie Ismael, Grace Paroginog, and Gladys Apolonio. Lorilyn Tolentino and Amy Delfin are business managers.
The election over, POPCom Regional Director Vicente Molejona, Jr. inducted them to office.
The newly constructed Eco Park Hall was also inaugurated followed with Barbeque Party with the officers and members of Kalibo Save the Mangrove led by Atty. Allen S. Quimpo.
The MB Users Club aims to improve their family economic status via responsible parenthood. /MP
