CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

I wish to thank my friends and relatives who texted me their respective Christmas greetings last Dec. 25, 2014. Deep in my heart and mind, I wished them the best wishes not only on December 25, but always.

Former Senator Richard Gordon and Chairman of Philippine Red Cross sent me this text… “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It has been a spectacular year of ceaseless sacrifice and selfless service! You have all been a source of splendid hope to our people throughout the “Tempests most severe”. I know our affected people appreciate you. The Red Cross movement is proud of all of you! I pray for God’s gift of endless compassion and well being for our people especially for you and your love ones not just for this season but a Happy Christmas through each day of the year. I am proud to serve with you and thank and appreciate your families as well.

I ate Christmas lunch with Mavillo and Josephine in Paeale, Banga with their family and relatives.
NVC Joins Ati-Atihan 2015

The Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC), Kalibo, Aklan will join the Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-atihan celebration 2015. The NVC administration, faculty and students will participate in street dancing (Sadsad) on Thursday afternoon, January 15. This will be followed with a Costume Ball in the evening to be held at NVC Gymnasium, Kalibo, Aklan. 

Moreover, NVC will also hold its College Festival and Foundation Day on February 26-27, 2015. This is agreed during the recent NVC Management Committee meeting presided by Atty. Allen S. Quimpo, NVC President. During the said meeting, committees to prepare the plan and activities for the festival are created. /MP
