Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Director General Avelino Razon Jr., will visit Aklan Police Provincial Office area of responsibility on April 18 – 20, 2008 for a Command Visit and talk to Aklan PPO personnel. PDG Razon will later convene the provincial police directors in Western Visayas under the leadership of PNP regional director Chief Supt. Isagani R Cuevas for a Provincial Peace and Order Meeting at the Gov. Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism and Training Center, Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan to ensure an integrated and comprehensive framework of peace and order in the province of Aklan. Expected to attend the event will be Provincial Governor Carlito S. Marquez, municipal mayors of Aklan towns, national and local agency heads in Aklan.
The PNP chief will also proceed to Boracay Island to personally talk to the PNP personnel of the Boracay Special Tourist Police Office (BSTPO) and attend the Lansang wedding.
The presence of PDG Razon will definitely boost the morale and motivate the PNP personnel, PSSupt. Benigno B. Durana, Jr. pointed out. /MP
