O R D E R

Finding material errors in her Certificate of Live Birth, petitioner filed a verified petition praying that after due notice, publication and hearing, respondent Municipal Civil Registrar of Nabas, Aklan be ordered to change and/or correct the following erroneous entries in her birth record, to wit: her gender from "Male" to "Female"; her father’s first name from "Faustino" to "Fausto", her mother’s first name from "Lany" to Mary Lany", her parents’ date and place of marriage from April 28, 1987 to December 23, 1985, and from "Gibon, Nabas, Aklan" to "Metropolitan Trial Court of Metro Manila, Quezon City", so as to reflect therein the true and correct aforestated entries.

Finding the petition sufficient in form and substance, set the Initial Hearing thereof on May 13, 2009 at 9:00 o’clock in the morning at the Session Hall of this Court, Kalibo, Aklan, on which date and time, any interested person may appear and show cause why the instant petition should not be granted.

A copy of this Order shall be published in the Madyaas Pen, a newspaper of general circulation in the Province of Aklan, once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks at the expense of the petitioner.

Send copies of this Order to the Honorable Solicitor General, 134 Amorsolo Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City; the Municipal Civil Registrar of Nabas, Aklan; and the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor, Kalibo, Aklan. Copies of this Order shall also be sent to the petitioner and her counsel.
