"Towards a Philippine Statistical System Responsive to Emerging National And Global Challenges" is the theme of the 21st National Statistics Month this October celebration.
One of the activities is a Statistical Forum held on Friday, October 22 at the Provincial Trade Hall, Capitol Grounds, Estancia, Kalibo. The program is jointly sponsored by the Aklan Provincial Planning Office and the National Statistics Office of Aklan.
Engr. Roger M. Esto of APPO welcomed the participants who represented the academe, and LGUs and users of statistics.
Ms. Maricel Bechayda and Mr. Ben Prado presented the Local Government Performance, Monitoring of Kalibo, Balete, Malay, and Aklan which got constructive reactions from Dr. Gabriel M. Delfin, Mr. Odon S. Bandiola, and Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente.
Ms. Edna Ayon, DepEd Aklan Planning Officer II presented the DepEd Best practices which also elicited constructive reaction from Ms. Arwina G. Tamayo, Dr. Ersyl Biray, and Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente.
Engr. Edelzon T. Magalit, Asst. Provincial Engr. discussed the Marina project with Atty. Allen S. Quimpo, Engr. Diosdado Cadena and Ms. India C. Legaspi as reactors. /MP
