ANHSAT Has Best School Paper Adviser


One of the region’s Outstanding School Paper Adviser for 2010 is an Aklanon.

The award is the second one for Ronel Tersol, school paper adviser of Aklan National High School for Arts and Trades (ANHSAT). He will received the award along with eight (8) others from various schools in Western Visayas during the awarding on November 26 at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.

The Search Proponent, Philippine Information Agency, has been conducting this search for years to appreciate and recognize the efforts of the school paper advisers in promoting development and responsible campus journalism.

In her letter to Mr. Richard Flores, Secondary School Principal of ANHSAT informing him that Mr. Tersol qualified for the award, PIA Regional Director Ma. Janet C. Mesa also thanked the school for participating in the PIA’s yearly campus journalism seminars.

"The award for Mr. Tersol is also in recognition for your school’s unfailing support to your publication," Atty. Mesa said.

ANHSAT’s school publication is called "Ink Gesture".
