Filipinos In Lebanon

Despite Israeli attacks in Lebanon specially in Beirut and other parts of the country that have left more than 300 people dead, Filipino overseas contract workers are adamant to leave that country. There are some 30,000 Filipinos in Lebanon. As of July 20, some 198 had been evacuated. Those who opt to stay believed that this problem would come and go and they want to be in place when peace is restored.
