Pacquiao Wins By Unanimous Decision


Many Pacquiao, after horrifying third round survived the fight and retained his World Boxing Council international super-featherweight title. The fight was held at the historic Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City in the morning of July 2.
Pacquiao floored his game opponent Oscar Larios of Guadalajara, Mexico twice amidst the tumultuous shouts of his compatriots who paid as much as P50,000 a ticket. Those who went to the general admission paid P500.00.
Larios failed to upset Pacquiao. Instead, Larios hit the canvas on the seventh and 12th rounds. He stood up smiling which generated sympathy from Pacquiao. He won in all the cards of the three judges who were from France, Belgium and Thailand.
All the four Mexican boxers, Oscar Larios included, went home defeated in the hands of the Filipinos during the "Mano A Mano" fights in the Big Dome.
Czar Amonsat defeated Silverio Ortiz, Jimrex Jaca defeated Hector Marquez and Jerry PeƱaloza staged a come back by defeating Tomas Rojas. /MP mailto:madyaas_pen@yahoo.com
