Libacao Feast for St. Catherine

Libacao, in honor of its Patron Saint, St. Catherine of Alexandria, celebrated its Municipal and Religious Fiesta on November 24 – 25. There were Novena Masses, Mass Wedding, Baptism, Grand Binayle, Coronation of Miss Libacao 2006, Air Show, "Baesa Parada" and "Kantahan Sa Plaza".

The Civic Program was held on November 24 where all schools, non-government organizations and public officials participated. There were 10 participants in the "Baesa Parada".
Governor Carlito S. Marquez was the guest speaker in the award ceremonies of the "Baesa Parada". He also distributed the awards with Mayor Charito I. Navarosa to the winners.
In the evening of November 24, Congressman Florencio T. Miraflores was the invited guest and coronation speaker during the Coronation Pageant. This year’s Miss Libacao is Dessy Mae N. Rebuelta who is the daughter of Mr. Desiderio Z. Rebuelta and Mrs. Shella N. Rebuelta. The 1st Princess is Lyka A. Lancisco – daughter of Mr. Julito V. Lanciso and Mrs. Mila A. Lanciso. Ellen L. Zonio is the 2nd Princess, daughter of Hon. Ehildo Zonio and Mrs. Rodelyn L. Zonio. /MP mailto:madyaas_pen@yahoo.com
