The Numancia Integrated School (NIS) is declared Smoke Free Zone. The declaration is embodied in Resolution No. 02, Series of 2010. The Pampaaralang Samahan Para Sa Edukasyon Sa Pagpapahalaga (PSEP) approved the resolution on December 4, 2009 during the meeting held in the NIS, Numancia, Aklan.
According to the resolution, smoking is hazardous to human health, very expensive vice, and renders the environment unhealthful.
The resolution is duly signed by Ana Katrina O. Fernandez – president, PSEP; Judith M. Obrique – Adviser, PSEP; Madsil C. Carillo – School Principal, NIS, and duly certified by Irene T. Dayal – secretary, PSEP. /MP
