A thanksgiving mass and renewal of vows to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary (50 years) of Ambassador Emmanuel C. Fernandez (Retired) and Dr. Hilda Bayot Gumogda will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Project 6, Quezon City on Saturday, 1 May 2010.Reception will follow at the Gazebo Royale, 29 Visayas Avenue Extension, Quezon City.
Emmanuel C. Fernandez is from Numancia, Aklan. He served as career Philippine diplomat in various countries and in the home office, Manila for some 34 years. Hilda is from Manila and Mambusao, Capiz. She was a senior pediatrician at Malacañang Clinic, Office of the President in 1956 – 1981. Their three children Lyndell, Emily and Manny have established their family homes in Houston, Texas, USA and in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Nuel and Hilda established their retirement home in GSIS Village, Quezon City. /MP
