“The Road to K+12”, is the main topic presented and discussed during the General Assembly of NVC Graduate School students held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 with Dr. Jesse M. Gomez, Schools Division Superintendent of Aklan as the guest speaker.
Dr. Gomez in his discussion traced the history, and rationale which lead to the adoption of new curriculum and increase of time before students can graduate in basic education and college.
Some 450 students taking up Master in Public Administration and Master of Arts in Educational Management attended the general assembly. The students came not only from Aklan but from Antique.
The graduate school officers were installed to their respective positions by Atty. Allen S. Quimpo and Atty. Plaridel M. Morania. Dean of the graduate school, Dr. Reinalda I. Magdaluyo welcomed the students. Those who were installed are President - Ricardo C. Tambong, Rey R. Tabanera-Vice Pres. Ms. Evelyn Tolentino-Secretary, Vichel V. Sardon - Treasurer, Rizalyn P. Cipriano - Asst. Sec. Treas., and Dennis M. Pedrajas - Auditor. /MP
