A classroom teacher, Mr. Jose Remano, 53 years old, was found dead at the door of his classroom in Navitas Elementary School, Malinao, Aklan. His lifeless body was found at 6:30 in the morning of Friday, June 14, 2013.
Mr. Remano and his family were victims of a recent fire mishap. His family stays in Ibajay, Aklan, while Mr. Remano was allowed to stay temporarily in a classroom in Navitas Elem. School where he taught.
According to PO2 Jim Villaruel of Malinao Police Station, Remano’s body was found by his co-teacher sprawled by the door of his room lifeless. The victim has a gunshot wound in his stomach believed to cause his death.
The motive of the killing is still unknown and the suspect is unidentified and still at large.
The incident is under investigation, said PO2 Villaruel. /MP
