Aklan police in the municipalities of Tangalan and Balete on Monday, May 28 arrested three (3) wanted persons.
Police Sr. Inspector Ricky Bontogon led PNP elements of Balete Police station and arrested two wanted persons by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide under criminal case No. 6513 issued by Presiding Judge, Hon. Eva Vita Taay-Tejada from the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Altavas and Balete, Aklan.
Police said the arrested persons identified as Jose Feliciano, Jr y Quillano, 59 years old, married and Ex Feliciano y Quillano 54 years old, single, farmer are all residents of Brgy. Archangel, Balete, Aklan.
PNP elements of Tangalan led by Police Inspector Moriel Guzman arrested the other wanted person identified as Renegerio Vallejo Jr y Alonsagay, 38 years old, married and resident of Brgy Panayakan, Tangalan, Aklan by virtue of arrest order for Violation of Section 5 (i) of Republic Act 9262 under criminal case No. 10316. Acting Judge Hon Ronald H Exmundo, Regional Trial Court 6, Kalibo, Aklan issued the warrant with bail bond fixed at P6,000.00 for his temporary liberty. Said wanted persons were turned over to courts concern.
Aklan Police Provincial Office director Senior Superintendent Cornelio T Defensor said, accomplishment on the arrests of wanted person is a manifestation of support to the Chief, PNP in the accounting of wanted persons on his 10-Point Action Plan, of which five (5) percent is the mandatory requirements per month from the total wanted persons accounted in respective AOR should be arrested. /MP
