SMART Service At Work
Kalibo-based employees of Smart Communications, Inc. and Philippine National Red Cross volunteers jointly attended to Ati-Atihan revelers at Pastrana Park . Smart employee-volunteers are trained in basic first-aid as part of the company’s volunteerism program S.E.R.V.I.C.E. or Smart Employees Responding as Volunteers in the Community and Environment.
The Smart First Aid station in partnership with Red Cross makes its debut in Kalibo this year to complement the 10 Smart booths provisioned to serve as police outposts along the Ati-Atihan parade route. . The provisioning for First Aid stations at major festivals has been an annual tradition for SMART to make the fiesta experience safer and more enjoyable for all participants. /MP
