NVC Alumni Foundation Prepares for 2010

Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC) Alumni Foundation is 60 years old. Founded in 1948, NVC Alumni Foundation celebrates its 60th day today February 21-22. The activities started with a dinner date on February 21 held in the NVC Gym Auditorium named ‘CSQ’ in honor of the late Carmen Salas Quimpo.

The dinner dance was the first salvo in preparation for the Grand Alumni Homecoming to be held in 2010. There were pledges from the progressive alumni which reached about P150,000 during the dinner date. The pledging was presided by Hon. Plaridel M. Morania.

The dinner date was highlighted with a power point presentation of the “NVC Then and Now”, door prizes, inspirational messages of Atty. Allen S. Quimpo, President – NVC, and PAPI president Johnny P. Dayang who is also NVC Alumni Foundation Chairman. Alumni were presented by tables.

Judge Lollie Villaruel welcomed the alumni and guests. Doxology was given by Uzziel Adores. Sharon Reyes & Co gave dance presentation and NVC Chordal Voices provided special number.

The program ended with the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
