Tolentino Enplanes To Malaysia–Singapore On Study Immersion


Aklan vice governor Ronquillo C. Tolentino shall enplane for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next week to attend the International Movement of Development Managers, the association of Master of Development graduates of the Asian Institute to a Country Competitiveness Immersion Program for Local Government Leaders. The immersion program will be held on November 30 to December 4, 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Singapore.
The learning objectives of the immersion program is for free. It is designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of national and global competitiveness among Philippines vice governors with Malaysia and Singapore as benchmarks. It is also intended to gain significant exposure and experience on manage democracy, obtain new ideas and fresh insights on politics and economics by engaging in a dialogue with Asian political thinkers and competitiveness.
The program shall also touch base with overseas Filipinos in the two countries through a forum of country branding as well as enhance individual political platforms and local government units programs given new learnings. /MP mailto:madyaas_pen@yahoo.com
