Aklan Kalantiao Jaycees with the cooperation of the Aklan State University, Agricultural Training Institute, DepEd Aklan and the Provincial Government of Aklan launched on Saturday their vegetable production and utilization program. It was launched during the “Kapehan Sa Aklan” program of the PAPI, Aklan Press Club and Aklan Media Forum, a weekly program.
The vegetable project will cover the seven towns of Libacao, Makato, New Washington, Kalibo, Numancia, Lezo and Banga.
This vegetable project is geared to ward off the impending shortage of vegetables in Aklan, provide nutritious vegetables to the Aklanons, instill desirable work habit and provide scientific learning experience to the participants.
Attractive prizes to the winners such as cash, garden implements and certificate will be awarded. All participants will be given certificate of participation.
