Host Aklan to the annual West Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Competition reviewed its preparation made for the fast approaching WVRAA competition on March 14 - 19. The meeting was held in Gov. Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism & Training Center, Buswang Old, Kalibo on Tuesday, March 2. Presided by Gov. Carlito S. Marquez, each chair of the various committees in charge in the preparation of the venues of the games and cultural competition reported.
Engr. Victory M. Fernandez, provincial engineer and responsible for the construction and repair of sports facilities reported the percentage of accomplishment. According to him, the sports complex will be 100 percent ready for the games by March 12.
Ms. Mary Ann Lopez of DepEd Aklan reported the schedule of activities and the housing of various city and provincial delegations. /MP
