Backyard Electricity Production

The picture above shows the Modular CHP Biopower System, automated, environmentally friendly CHP biopower system for on-site power and heat using an industrial, spark ignited gas engine/generator and fueled by woody biomass residues. It fits well for backyard electricity production.

As explained by Mr. Cory J. Coppage, managing director of Asia Pacific Energy Resources, Biomass 100 is containerized, easy to maintain for outdoor operation, fully automatic startup, operation and shutdown. It has controlled monitor over internet, self clearing gasifier, gas coaling and autochar/ash removal system, no liquid affluent, no toxic waste, combined heat and power, integrated wood chip drier and transportable.

Biomax 100 can produce 100 kWe plus heat. The fuel conversion is one (1) kilogram of wood chips per kWe.

The features of the Modular CHP Biopower System was explained in a symposium held in the afternoon of Wednesday, March 10 at the NVC conference room. The NVC students, faculty, with Atty. Allen S. Quimpo and EVP Erlinda Q. Fernandez Wilson attended the presentation. Some private sector representatives were also present.

Mr. Cory J. Coppage was assisted by Mr. Michael West and Ms. Perla Manapol in presenting the containerized Biomas 100. /MP
