RC Kalibo donated 100 Takayama books to Pinamuc-an Day Care Center with 48 pre-schoolers and 40 nursery/kinder enrollees together with the two (2) long tables and 200 pcs chairs for Pinamuc-an Elementary School with 343 enrollees as of 2006, respectively. Likewise, 52 pcs of chairs were given to Tambak Elementary School. After a long-walk, the members of the Rotary Club of Kalibo proceeded to Seawall, Tambak, New Washington, Aklan where the teachers of the school are waiting. You have to cross a river to reach Barangay Pinamuc-an because they have no bridge and good roads for accessibility to the town proper. Barangay Pinamuc-an in the town of New Washington, Aklan is this year’s adopted Barangay with a population of 2,485 as of 2006 with 473 households with an average of 5 members per household and adopted Day-Care Center in response to one of the thrusts of the R.I. and District 3850.
