Last October, the different NVC Alumni Chapter presidents from the various Municipal chapters convened at the NVC RSQ Bldg. Audio Visual Room for a get-together and luncheon. They discussed the preparation for the Grand NVC Alumni, former Students Homecoming, and Reunion slated on January 12-13, 2010 at the NVC Gym Auditorium, Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan.
Dr. Dobie Parohinog from Numancia, Arturo Terencio from Makato, Nemia P. Mendoza from Lezo, Lolita R. Retome of Malinao, District Supervisor Aploren Bereber from the Tangalan Chapter and District Supervisor Virgie Calizo representing Ibajay Chapter attended the meeting.
Dr. Gabriel Delfin, Libacao Comelec Registrar Getulio M. Esto, and Col. Georby C. Manuel and his better half Juanita Manuel represented Altavas Chapter, Mrs. Francisca T. Rapiz, BOD and NVC Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Lorna T. Sison, Assistant Secretary, Mr. Ramon Quimpo Jr. Publicity and Promotions Chairperson, Liza V. Cezar of the Secretariat, Alumni Office Secretary Janalene Dival and Gia Yuhum Reyes also attended. She ably presented the webpage of nvcalumni@yahoo.com account.
Mrs. Elma M. Jera, NVC Alumni Affairs Coordinator welcomed those present. Mrs. Edita Ureta Reyes, NVC AFI Auditor hosted the luncheon meeting.
Atty. Allen S. Quimpo, NVC President, and Commissioner/Publisher Johny P. Dayang provided the institution’s support.
Atty. Plaridel M. Morania presided the meeting which started at 9:00 o’clock in the morning. The main agendum was the organization of Alumni Barangay Coordinators. The salient points discussed concerned the activities such as Parade, Raffle Draw, Search for Ms. and Mr. NVC Alumni, Masquerade Ball, Street Dancing, Larong Alumni, and others.
The group agreed to hold a follow up meeting on the last Saturday of November 2009.
