Technical Writing and Public Speaking are the main subjects of the 5-day training for members of the Philippines National Police (PNP) of Aklan. The training started on November 16 and will culminate on November 21 being held in the Governor Corazon L. Cabagnot Training Center, Old Buswang, Kalibo.
The training is focused on the PNP’s transformation program as stressed by PSSupt. Epifanio A. Bragais, Jr. in his welcome speech during the Opening Ceremony.
In his message, Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente of the Aklan Press Club congratulated the Aklan PNP management for conducting the training with special emphasis on Technical Writing and Public Speaking. He cited the importance of Police Blotter report which must be written accurately complete with correct facts. Police Blotter report is a very important document in the administration of justice, Villorente pointed out.
Villorente was introduced by PSINSP Arnolito Laguerta, chief of police of Kalibo. PO3 Julius T. Barrientos was the dean of ceremonies. Pastor Wynie Fenete of the Christ the King Church led the invocation. /MP
