Ms. Ma. Divina I. Sombilon, BSED 2005 was elected President of the NVC Alumni Foundation Inc., in an organizational meeting held recently in the house of Brgy. Capt. Napoleon Tandog at Hambil, San Jose, Romblon.
Sombilon is Teacher I in Lanas National High School, San Jose, Romblon.
Other officers elected with Sombilon are: Romeo Roldan - Vice-President, Florida Tranca – Secretary, Mary Jane Monatano – Treasurer, and Wilfredo Sombilon - P.I.O. members of the Board of Directors are Gilbert Malacad, Gloriasa B. Casimiro, Esteban Delos Santos, Eulyses Casimiro, Augusto Casimiro, and Edison "Billy" Magbanua.
Mr. Johnny P. Dayang, Chairman, NVC-Alumni and President of Publisher Association of the Philippines Incorporated (PAPI) personally sailed to Carabao Island to induct the officers. In his message, Dayang exhorted them to live to the ideals of the NVC.
Ms. Liza V. Cezar, Alumni Secretariat briefed the Alumni of the coming Reunion on January 12-13, 2010 and the planned activities, programs, and the establishment of Alumni Scholarship Fund.
The election followed for the new set of officers. The following were elected and sworn by Mr. Johnny P. Dayang. Brgy. Capt. Napoleon Tandog of Brgy. Inobahan, San Jose Romblon, Vice Mayor Harold S. Minano, San Jose, Romblon, facilitated the holding of the organizational NVC Alumni Association meeting. /MP
