The Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC) Kalibo, Aklan held its "Palaro 2010" on Sept. 2 - 3. One of the activities was the "Night of the Dances" on Thursday evening which featured dance competition among the students population. There were four categories of the competition which are Folk Dance, Theatrical/Modern Jazz, Hip-Hop/Pop Dance, and Dance Sport. The Night of Dances was held at CSQ Gym, Capitol Site, Kalibo.
Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente, dean, College of MassCom, NVC gave his message during the program. He explained what dances are. /MP
