NVC Literature Students Honor Aklanon Writers


The Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC) will hold a "Pen Moves…Tribute to Aklanon Writers at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 20, NVC RSQ Alumni Hall, Kalibo, Aklan.
The presentation is under the auspices of the NVC Literature students with the collaboration of Sto. Niño Seminary students, Numancia, Aklan under Professor Methuselah Santamaria and Ma. Lourdes Victoriano. The presentation will be made as a tribute to and as an appreciation to Aklanon writers.
Mr. Roman Dela Cruz, the family of the late Dr. Dominador Ilio, Atty. Ronquillo C. Tolentino, Dr. Josette Biyo and Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente are invited to attend the affair. Mr. Dela Cruz’ Hail, Anti Heroes; Dr. Ilio’s Harvest; Atty. Tolentino’s Ang Kalayaan; Dr. Biyo’s Shine! Pinoy Shine!; and Dr. Villorente’s Entrepreneurial Farmer will be the subjects of powerpoint presentation and interpretation.
The presentation over, the four Aklanon writers named above will give their respective responses. Dr. Reinalda I. Magdaluyo, Dean, College of Education, NVC will give her words of appreciation. NVC president, Atty. Allen Salas Quimpo, with Dr. Magdaluyo will award the Certificate of Recognition.
